2018 Service Unit Encampment
May 4-6, 2018
Sign up by April 16th
Join us for a weekend of camping, outdoor skills, crafts, fun, SWAPS, and s'mores.
Camp Darden is near Franklin, VA. Is is about 1 1/2 hours away and you can ride the ferry to get there!
Check in will be Friday night. Check out by 10 am on Sunday. We are planning a full day of activities for Saturday.
Things to bring: Each troop is responsible for their own camping gear and will need a trained Outdoor person with their troop. If you do not have a trained person let me know and we will double your troop up with another that is trained. You can coordinate meals with that troop if you want.
On Saturday we will set up tie dyeing and design your own camp patch stations.
For Tie Dyeing Shirts-
Each girl will need to bring a white, pre-washed t'shirt with her name written inside.
She will also need a gallon size zip lock bag (with her name on it) to put the shirt in until she gets home.
Patches will be supplied.
Please bring SWAPs!
