Additional Training Requirements - All Leaders

Troop Leaders are required to take the Risk Management Course annually.  Please click the risk management link below to take the course.  Remember to take the survey at the end to get credit for the course.

​Key Forms and Information

All Troops/Volunteers must review and comply with the Safety Activity Checkpoints and Volunteer Essentials for all Girl Scout Activities.

Girl Scout Insurance: Some activities may require purchase of separate Girl Scout insurance.  Please see the insurance guide to understand your coverage. 

Vendor Certificate of Insurance (COI):   Girl Scout Council of Colonial Coast is required to have a Certificate of Insurance on file from any vendor utilized during Girl Scout Activities before girls may participate in any activities that pose physical danger.  This includes many common activities such as camping and travel.  
See listing of Vendors with COIs already on file or if needed complete the COI request form. 

Financial
For Finance questions, please contact the Service Unit Financial Coordinator - Denise


Finances are due annually on the 1st of June.  The Finance Tracker spreadsheet can be used to help track and file the finance report.  You must keep all receipts and bank statements on file.


Health and Safety
Each Troop must maintain the Adult/Girl Health History Form and Publication Consent Form for each Girl and Adult Volunteer in their troop.  These should be validated prior to any trip and should be updated annually at a minimum.
